About Us

Little Compute is an independent comparison site for small computers: mini PCs and single-board computers (SBCs). We keep one comparable dataset — CPU, iGPU, memory, storage, ports, idle power and price — and turn it into decisions: which box for Plex, which for a budget, which instead of a Raspberry Pi. Specs and prices are checked against the vendor's own page.

What we do

We cover two categories with one data model: mini PCs (x86, NUC-class boxes) andsingle-board computers (Raspberry Pi-class boards and their RK3588 alternatives). For each device we record the same fields, so the comparison table and every guide are generated from a single source of truth. We compare on fit for a small computer — a media server, a home lab, a light desktop or a budget box — not on enterprise feature lists.

Specs and prices are checked against each vendor's own page and dated, and where a vendor doesn't publish a price, or a spec can't be confirmed, we say "TBC" instead of guessing. Read ourfull scoring and sourcing method, or see it in action onthe best mini PC for Plex.

Who runs it

Little Compute is written and maintained byMarcus Ky, a software engineer and technology writer. The reviews, scores and data are editorial: they come from the published rubric, not from vendors.

How we make money

Little Compute is and always will be free to read. When you click through to a product and buy, the vendor may pay us a commission. That's it — no paid placements, no sponsored rankings.

✓Every commercial link is disclosed on the page.
✓Commissions never affect our scores or ordering.
✓We name the boxes we'd avoid, even when they pay.
Commercial outbound links are always marked rel="sponsored nofollow", and every page carries a funding note. Read the fullaffiliate disclosure.

Editorial independence

Scores, rankings and ordering are ours alone. No vendor can buy a place in a guide, a higher score or a better position, and no vendor sees a page before it is published. Where we recommend a box that has no affiliate path, we recommend it anyway — and where a product is weak, the write-up says so, commission or not. If a recommendation changes because the evidence changed, we say so on the page.
